Had an amazing time with friends! The hosts were super friendly and the breakfasts were top-notch. We explored the marine path along the Menai Strait and enjoyed cycling through the beautiful scenery. The location is practical for accessing nearby attractions and comfortable for unwinding after a day of adventure.
We did have a little trouble with the hot water in the mornings, which made our early departures a bit tricky.

Just had a great stay at Maen Hir! Loved the spacious room and comfy beds. Eirian, the host, was super helpful, and the breakfast was delicious! Hot water was a bit of an issue on our early ferry day, but overall, a solid choice for a relaxing getaway.

The room was spacious and clean, but finding the place was a hassle.

The spacious room offered a great atmosphere for a restful night. Watching the sunset was nice, despite some interruptions from the outside area.
Finding the place proved challenging due to the lack of a house number, which created some unnecessary hassle. The King or Twin Room felt a bit worn and had a faulty LED light in the bathroom, forcing us to rely on the overhead sink light, which isn’t ideal when you’re dodging the harsh bathroom vibe. The outside space could use some tidying. had to move a bag of compost just to sit outside comfortably.

My stay at Maen Hir left me feeling quite satisfied. The warm welcome included fresh milk for tea, a thoughtful touch that added to the homey atmosphere. The room was spacious and quiet, equipped with comfortable beds, which made for a restful night. Breakfast featured a wide variety, cooked well and delicious, fueling me up for the day ahead. I appreciated the thoughtful amenities like a hot water bottle and extra toiletries. On the flip side, the room had a slightly tired feel. The faulty LED light in the bathroom was inconvenient, forcing us to rely on the overhead sink light. The outside area could benefit from tidying up too. I had to move a bag of compost off the table to enjoy the sunset. A bit of attention to these details would elevate the experience further.

I particularly enjoyed the spacious and clean room, which contributed to a restful night’s sleep. The ample parking was a big convenience, allowing easy access to explore the area. Some areas could benefit from tidying up.
